Applicant is part of a team that is responsible for performing all types of building and grounds repairs including but not limited to carpentry, framing, sheet rock, spackle, HVAC preventive maintenance and repair, plumbing, minor electrical and painting.
In addition the building maintenance mechanic will perform preventative maintenance schedules on requisite facility equipment, maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies, complete work orders for all work done, complete inspections of facilities.
The successful candidate must be able to respond after hours or on weekends in the event of an emergency.
Handyman qualifications and skills Clean drivers license and the ability to secure and maintain a CDL License.
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools, power tools Effective English written and oral communication skills.
Able to work well with minimal supervision.
Ability to use email and computers.
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
Provide hand and small power tools typically required for the type of work involved.
